Possible to go back to original The Legend of Zelda: Oot after playing 3DS Version?

While I have been around gaming for awhile dating back to the early to mid yrs of the Psone I never got to play Oot in it's prime . I ended up downloading the N64 version On my WII and played thru the deku tree and loved what I played so far. Due to personal situations I had to pause my play sessions and when I finally had the time to play OoT I ended up with a PS3 and fell in love with Uncharted 2. Now fast forward about a 1 1/2 almost 2, Nintendo releases the 3DS and a Remake of OoT which I am 100% getting. My question is after completing the 3D version would I be able to appreciate the Original?
